The DualDur® test is a simple blood test. It is performed in an accredited laboratory, and it has a mandatory quality certification and a valid registration. The essence of this unique testing method lies in its specific focus on detecting the bacteria that cause Lyme borreliosis. presence of bacteria can be detected more effectively from the patients’ blood.
The key to the DualDur® test is a cell technology medium and a preparation method that enables the direct detection and confirmation of the visible presence of the pathogen under the microscope, even before the serological — that is, immune — reaction develops, and before the symptoms become more pronounced.
DualDur® was validated by Europe’s largest clinical research on Lyme disease diagnostics before the test was made available to the public. After sample preparation using our method, automatic dark-field microscopy (AIM) analysis in the study showed significantly higher diagnostic results than those achieved with the standard methods currently in use.
We recommend our test — following medical consultation — for patients in whom Lyme disease or another bacterial infection is suspected, and whose symptoms persist despite treatment of other diseases.
DualDur is therefore the only diagnostic procedure for detecting Lyme disease that has been validated in public, pre-planned clinical studies, verified in Europe. and perfomed in accredited laboratories in Europe. Compared to serological tests (such as Western blot, ELISA, ELISPOT, Vibrant, or pharmacy rapid tests), it provides more reliable information about the actual state of infection — even when the immune response cannot yet be measured. Among the tested methods, DualDur showed the highest sensitivity value, meaning it was the most effective in detecting the actual state of infection.
